INGENIUM CORPORATION AWARDED $13M ORDER TO PROVIDE AIR FORCE SOFTWARE LICENSES
Dayton, OH -- Ingenium Corporation has received a $13M award against its Enterprise Information Management (EIM) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). The award calls for Ingenium to secure more than 600,000 EIM software licenses, with annual maintenance, from IBM. The period of performance is for one year.
Ingenium and its partner IBM were awarded the EIM BPA in 2004. Under the award, the team won the right to assist the Air Force in securing licenses for Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and providing Global Combat Support System (GCSS) Integration Framework consulting, training, workflow, business process configuration and program management services for the EIM Tool Suite. IBM provides the tool suite, which includes the DB2 Content Manager for multi-platforms, DB2 Document Manager, DB2 Records Manager, MQ Workflow, IBM CommonStore, IBM Lotus Instant Messaging and Web Conferencing.
The BPA, a five year procurement vehicle awarded by the Materiel Systems Group (MSG), is designed to allow the Air Force to access decision ready information AF-wide, while enhancing the management and flow of information to support the Warfighter.
