INGENIUM CORPORATION WINS AWARD TO SUPPORT FINAL DEVELOPMENT, DEPLOYMENT OF THE AVIATION RESOURCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (ARMS)
Montgomery, AL –Ingenium Corporation has been selected by the US Air Force 554th Electronic Systems Group at Maxwell AFB-Gunter Annex in Montgomery, Alabama, to continue supporting the preparation and fielding of its Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS). ARMS, an on-line management system, is designed to support the base level Operations Group Commanders, aircrew supervisors, and managers. The award is for 6 months with one option.
“Ingenium has supported the ARMS Program Management Office since 2003 in a series of modernizations and conversions, including server migration and moving the system from a client-server environment to a web-based Java system,” commented Clifford Hall, Vice President of Business Development. “This follow-on work will allow Ingenium to focus on completing the conversion as a development effort and preparing for deployment and fielding of a web-enabled J2EE ARMS.”
Specifically, Ingenium will provide software programming expertise for all phases of the ARMS software engineering life cycle, including analysis, design, coding and testing of new requirements as well as maintenance of the existing converted J2EE software. Ingenium will also provide technical analyses of new technologies and recommend optimum approaches for maintenance and development.
ARMS ensures accurate tracking of flying and ground training programs for weapon systems. It provides accurate and timely aircrew information which assists in monitoring, tracking, scheduling the military training directed by AF and Major Command (MAJCOM) policies, and flying hours for aircrew members world-wide.
